Take into account, his middle name - Wayne.  Every great criminal in the past hundred years, particularly in the south, had been christened thus: Micheal ‘Wayne’ Sears, Dale ‘Wayne’ Eaton, Ricky ‘Wayne’ Brown, Micheal ‘Wayne’ Fisher, Bobby ‘Wayne’ Swisher, and now Colter ‘Wayne’ Hobbes.  From the Calvinist perspective, I suppose my uncle was damned from the beginning; with his seat in sin confirmed, there wasn’t much more he could do other than continue on exactly the way he did.
