Sophie

Has always tried to straddle the Japanese and American worlds. Taught Kit, her daughter, nothing about the spirits, and tries to make up for that by passing on her knowledge to Amy, her granddaughter.

Came over to America as Ichiro's picture bride and has never again set foot in Japan, where her soul resides. Taught Sophie, her daughter, all she needed to know about the spirits.
