And we must ever be grateful for this phenomenon: although a parallel version of the Scholar's work can be partially assembled from the copy apparently transmitted by the Unknown Curator — and possibly by the Fellow who seems to have rescued some of the Scholar's drafts and notes — we would know nothing of the adventurous transmission of this lobe of the archives, were it not for this principle.
